We start today’s episode chatting with celebrity chef, restaurateur, culinary school director, and cookbook author Matthew Kenney, who weighs in on his latest culinary projects and the meteoric rise in the popularity of plant-exclusive cuisine. I came to today’s program fresh from the launch event for SoBuddhalicious.com, a cool online meal-planning-and-prep program, and when I told Buddhalicious cofounder, Chef Jenne Claiborne , that Matthew Kenney would be on today’s show, she gave me a look like I was going be to talking with the biggest rockstar of all time, and in vegan culinary terms, I guess I was. Check out Matthew and some of his many exciting projects:

Then we met Sarah Woodcock, founder of The Advocacy of Veganism Society. A committed animal rights abolitionist, Sarah is adamant that veganism is a moral imperative, that animal welfare measures only prolong animal enslavement, and that I was sorely mistaken when I gave an endorsement to an upcoming book encouraging people who are not interested in going vegan to eat fewer animal products. Unlike some people who think that was the wrong thing for me to do, Sarah actually treated me decently while telling me what she believes to be the error of my ways, and for this reason I’m proud to have her on the program expressing the views of this often controversial arm of the AR/vegan movement.
