Daily Schedule

From that moment on, your week of adventure, rest, re-connection, and vibrant rainbow food commences. Each morning you’ll enjoy morning yoga, maybe some breathwork with cacao, and a delicious buffet breakfast.

Then your surf instructor eagerly awaits your beach arrival to hone your surfing skills and learn new skills. Video analysis follows with a home-cooked lunch by Casa La Aventura’s incredible chefs.

In the afternoon, expect to either chill out or experience an excursion (volcano hike, beach cleanup, animal hospital visit, DIY plant spa day, or cooking class). Each dinner will be packed with whole food creativity and deliciousness, either dinner at Casa, cooking class by Danielle and Jules, or cultural experience out at a local restaurant.

Head back to the eco-resort, chill out on a hammock and head to bed for another day of Nicaragua memory-making ahead.

Julia Murray, born and raised in Whistler, BC, is an Olympian skier, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Plant-Based Chef, and vegan Whistler Real Estate Agent.

Throughout her plant-based entrepreneurial adventures, she created a cereal business, and the blog and brand Hooked on Plants. Named one of Canada’s top vegan athletes by Impact Magazine, Julia is a Main Street Vegan-certified coach. She also the co-created the Whistler Vegan Virtual Fest and podcast.

You may have seen her on The Shopping Channel or hosting Ski TV. She’s managed social media for No Meat Athlete, Stay Wyld Organics, and Complement, as well as co-developing and representing the Complement Well App (previously 80/20 Plants).

When not working, Julia makes the most of her backyard playground (biking, guiding in the Ski With Olympian program) or traveling in her van with her two rescue dogs to the next kiteboarding spot.
