Jasmin

TwoZestyBananas.com is a fun and fabulous new site from New Zealand, the brainchild of two MDs — one of these, Dr. Luke Wilson, is the first guest on this podcast — and a whole foods enthusiast. Their goal: to interest people ages sixteen to thirty-four in the whole foods, plant based diet. They do it with colorful images, relevant and constantly updated information, and the 21st Century Food Course, a 6-week all-you-need-to-know immersion in plant-sourced eating and health, with the feel of a graphic novel.

Always too Much and Never Enough is the dazzling new memoir from Jasmin Singer, whom you know as the co-director of Our Hen House, a multi-media hub to change the world for animals, and co-host of the twice Webby-recognized Our Hen House podcast. The book chronicles Jasmin’s experience as a food-addicted young person, subject to horrendous bullying because of her weight, who discovers animal rights and veganism, but only later finds the answer to her food issues in juicing and whole foods. My conversation with her is honest, raw, revealing, and fascinating.
