Meat Boycott Resources
Join in the fight for justice. Slaughterhouses are hotbeds for COVID-19. Workers continue to become infected at high rates, and many have already died. These workers, overwhelmingly men and women who have limited choice in the jobs they choose, are being forced to work and put their lives at risk during the deadly coronavirus pandemic, because meat is deemed “essential.” Those of us in the vegan community are living proof that it is not.
Main Street Vegan Academy’s Vegan Lifestyle Coaches & Educators (VLCEs) will be offering FREE consultations and support to those who want to enjoy meatless meals or explore the full vegan lifestyle during the Meat Boycott — see “Ask a Vegan” below. And please share widely with the hashtag: #BoycottMeat.

“Kindness and compassion towards all living things is a mark of a civilized society. Conversely, cruelty, whether it is directed against human beings or against animals, is not the exclusive province of any one culture or community of people. Racism, economic deprival, dog fighting and cock fighting, bullfighting and rodeos, are all cut from the same fabric: violence. Only when we have become nonviolent towards all life will we have learned to live well ourselves.”
~ Cesar Chavez
